If I’m this tired after a day of planning, I’m wondering how I’ll make it through a day of running around campus with twelve children. It will certainly be more exciting!

It’s funny how you learn so much more about yourself when you are with other people. Teams are brilliant things, I couldn’t get much done without one. As a leader, I’ve discovered I am the kind of person who has to write everything down and draw things to fully explain myself. I’m not that much of a linear thinker because I go off on tangents all the time, but they all pull back into a common goal. It’s the adventure of pioneering, building from the ground up. The wonder of not knowing exactly what you are doing.

Today we did accomplish a lot of things. Obviously there’s a whole string of “to-do’s”. I have to purposefully draw back and “recharge”, or else I might clonk out. Don’t want that to happen!

“I feel like I should be stressed. But I’m not. Not even barely.” That’s what we all decided today. Shouldn’t we be planning like crazy? No, God has given us peace.

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” -Philippians 4:6-7
